Near Whitewater Challengers Hudson River Rafting Center, you can enjoy terrific biking opportunities at the nearby Gore Mountain and Garnet Hill X-C Ski & Mountain Biking Center.

Gore Mountain Ski Area Trails: Ski area biking trails are serviced by Northwoods Gondola, and provide exciting runs during the spring, summer and fall. For dates and times, call 518-251-2411 or visit www.goremountain.com.

Garnet Hill X-C Ski & Mountain Biking Center: The area's cross country ski trails, old roads, and new single track bike trails combine for a wonderful variety of Mountain Biking opportunities.

Beginner Mountain Biking Rides: The easiest riding for beginners can be found on local roads near our rafting center, and near the Garnet Hill Biking Center. These include Old Farm Road, 4-H Road, Harvey Road, and 13th Lake Road. The Old Faithful Trail connects the 4-H Road and Harvey Road and makes a nice beginner loop.

Intermediate Bike Rides: These are found on nearby Trapper, Cougar, and Sugarhouse Trails. These trails also lead to Mt. View Trail, Apple Way and The North Acres Farm. There are great mountain views here and you can see the new llamas at the farm.

Expert Rides: Cyclists can test their skills on Matt & Jeff, Solitude, Bobcat, Duffany's and the single track trails. Ask for a copy of the Mt. Bike Guide, and trail maps at the mainlodge lodge at Garnet Hill.
