The Adventure Campground at Whitewater Challengers offers convenient, comfortable access to Adventure Center activities like whitewater rafting, biking, paintball and kayaking in and around the Lehigh River Gorge State Park in the Poconos. Camping sites and rustic bunkhouses are just a few minutes' stroll from the rafting check-in area, food service, retail store, and other Adventure Center facilities and activities.

Our campground's sand volleyball court, basketball area and recreation field are available at no charge to our guests.  A covered pavilion and group campfire/activity area may be reserved for use by your camping group for a small fee.  Bicycles may be rented at the campground and beautiful trails for hiking and biking are nearby, as well as opportunities for fishing, horseback riding, swimming, golf and more.  And our ZipLine Adventure and Paintball Programs are exciting new features, available right at the Camping Center.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner service are available to our guests (reservations sometimes required) from early Spring through October 14.  The snack bar is open daily.  Our retail store offers souvenirs, a variety of outdoor equipment and camping supplies. Free Wi-Fi is also available for your convenience. Hot showers and restrooms complete our Adventure Campground facilities. Showers are open from about mid-April through mid-October.

Our wooded camp sites are designed primarily for tent camping.  Several rustic bunkhouses are also available for rent.  If you'd rather tent, but don't own a tent, these can be rented as well.  Camp sites, tents and bunkhouses should be reserved in advance.  Charcoal grills and camp stoves are welcome and wood campfires should be restricted to the metal fire ring at each campsite.  Firewood is available for sale at the camp store.  Naturally, cutting of trees is not permitted.

Campsites are open and available from early April through October 14.  Ours is a family campground, so quiet hour (11 PM to 7 AM) is strictly enforced.  Alcohol, ATV's, firearms, firecrackers, and rowdy or excessively noisy behavior are prohibited. No pets allowed.

Check-in time for camping is between 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM each day.  Check-out is 1/2 hour after your trip returns to the Adventure Center, unless otherwise posted.

While we are not primarily a Motorhome Park, we are able to accept RV's and motorhomes on some occasions.  Please call ahead to be sure your RV can be accepted.  A separate fee of $15 per RV per night applies, and space for an RV needs to be reserved in advance. No electric, water hook-up, or dump stations available.

To reserve camping space at the Adventure Campground at Whitewater Challengers, simply book online below or call our reservation hotline (800-443-7238).  A minimum deposit of 25% of your camping fee will hold your space until 15 days before your visit, when the balance of your payment is due.  Reservations made less than 15 days in advance must be accompanied by the full camping fee.  Full refunds will be issued with 15 days' advance notice of cancellation; 50% refund if cancellation is made 7 to 14 days in advance; no refunds for no-shows or cancellations made less than 7 days in advance.
