Whitewater Challengers' has logged more than 16 million miles of rafting trips since 1975. That's like going to the moon and back more than 32 times.

The Whitewater Challengers guide crew has logged more than 500 total years of whitewater boating experience!

Supporting Our Friends in Need ...

This year, each rafting ticket you and your group purchase will generate a donation by Whitewater Challengers of more than $10 worth of rafting trips to the charity you tell us to support.  Choose from the Make-A-Wish Foundation; or Big Brothers Big Sisters; or the families of returning veterans from Iraq and Afghanistan.  We applaud the tremendous work these people do, and we really appreciate your patronage ... patronage that we hope will generate more than $500,000 worth of donations by Whitewater Challengers during 2012.

Lehigh Dam Release Plan Updated ...

The Lehigh River dam release plan for 2012 looks almost exactly like last year's schedule.  We'll see extra water released into the river on alternating weekends from May 7 through July 7-8, and then on EVERY weekend from July 21-22 through September 1-2!  This is the most extensive warm-water dam release schedule ever!  Don't miss it!

NY Rivers Set to Offer High-Adventure Outings ...

Our rafting centers in New York offer trips on the Hudson, Black, Moose and Salmon Rivers.  These are great outings, ranging from easy Class II whitewater to the kind of hang-on-to-your-hats Class V action you often see on TV.  Ask our reservationists to recommend an adventure just right for you and your group!

After a great day on the river, we're often asked "what's the next step?" 

We enjoy answering this question, because there are so many great choices...

     * a highwater Spring trip on the Lehigh (Class III)
     * a summertime Hudson River Gorge trip (Class III+)
     * a summertime Black River Canyon trip (Class III/IV)
     * a springtime Hudson Gorge trip (Class IV)
     * a springtime Black River trip (Class IV+/V)
